Hello Erica,

I hope you remember me, I’m Mandy Rogers and my mom, my brother Craig, and I came to see you a few weeks ago!

I wanted to give you an update.  I really love the True You, and I do want to do some more work with you.

If you remember, I asked you about eating well, and for the past two and a half weeks since I saw you I have been doing what you proscribed: eating when I’m hungry and stopping right before satisfaction.  I think it is working because I just happened to weigh myself last week and then a week later and I lost two pounds, even with my period!

Finally, the most amazing thing to me has been the crazy, wonderful world I have begun to discover.  I have been playing around with manifestations and having so much fun.  One afternoon when I was sitting outside, I thought to myself how awesome it would be to see the skydivers in Pepperell, MA.  I looked down for just a second and looked up again, and there they were!  The craziest one that happened to me recently had to do with going back to school this fall.  I asked the Divine to help me with my housing selection.  My three friends were placed with a random roommate, and I asked the Divine if she could please put me with them if possible, but if not I would be just as happy to be in the same building.  Mind you, this is a large building in Boston, with up to 18 stories, and I could have been placed anywhere on campus.  Every time I would start to worry or fuss over it, I would completely surrender and give it up and say to the Divine, “I’m giving this to you!”  The housing department forgot to email me important papers at one point, which could have put me at a disadvantage, but I never let it win me over.    The other day, when I was least expecting it, I received an email from the housing department saying my housing assignment had been made, and I could check it out online.  Low and behold, there is was, Room 608 with my three friends.  I had goosebumps I was so excited! But mostly excited that my Spirit was there with me, and the possibilities were endless!

“HI Erica -So much is changing and happening, that I needed to take it slowly and quietly. I felt garded and private- kind of like I wanted to keep it all to myself. I can honestly say, this has been an amazing help in getting thru some pretty rough spots in my life, lately. I am facing my mother’s fight with cancer,and her impending death…and everything that goes along with that, and somehow, even though I have been upset, and angry and even relieved…I have been able to hold on and get thru. I am enjoying and holding close to my heart, the good things in life. I am feeling grateful and blessed. And I am learning that bliss doesn’t necessarily mean delirious happiness all the time- But can also be the feeling of peace that comes over me at times… Or the feeling that everything will be okay, and will work out in the way it needs to.

I look forward to my conversations with God, my meditation times, and I look forward to my dreams each night, while I can’t always recount them,they are all very vivid and very interesting. Sometimes I am not sure what I had dreamed, but I awaken with a joyful, or peaceful feeling that stays with me throughout the day.

So, it is a journey, and every time I pick up Lola’s book, I learn something new. An aha moment. Or a moment when I say- I knew that, before I was conditioned to believe differently. I am still having a hard time believing I deserve to be happy. But I think that is on the horizon- because I can see it.

The Saturday you did Grace Blessings for us, was a beautiful ceremony. I liked that we each individually lit a candle and took the seat of honor before you granted a Grace Blessing for each of us.

It did make me feel special, but at the same time, I didn’t feel like I deserved it. I didn’t have a vision after the Divine Opening…just a wonderful feeling of peace. And a strange feeling of seperatness-or detachment, which I still don’t understand. But I felt giddy and happy when you said we could take home the candle we had lit. Thank you. I was amazed that we all could tell which one was our own candle. And I was delighted because I loved my green candle with its delicate scent.
