They may be nearing the end of life, moving through serious illness, or existing in that mysterious space where no one truly knows whether they are preparing to leave or whether something within them is still choosing life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese moments can be extraordinarily sacred.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey can also be frightening, painful, confusing, and emotionally overwhelming for everyone involved.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eThe Sacred Threshold Session is a prayerful, spiritual and energetic offering for individuals who are at or near this threshold—and for the families who love them.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy role is not to decide whether someone should live or die.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is not to call someone out of the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is not to keep someone in the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd it is never to impose my will upon the soul.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInstead, I enter into a deeply prayerful state and stand, energetically and spiritually, at the threshold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom that place, I pray.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI listen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI work with the energetic field.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd I ask that the highest and most loving destiny available to that soul be supported.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes that may mean creating greater peace around a person’s transition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes it may mean helping release fear, resistance, unfinished emotional energy, or energetic constriction surrounding the experience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes a person who appears to be nearing death remains.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes there may be an unexpected shift or stabilization.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd sometimes the body completes its journey.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eI do not determine which of those things happens.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe soul does.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy work is simply to create a field of love, prayer, grace, permission, and energetic support in which whatever is meant to unfold may do so as peacefully and naturally as possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cb\u003eDuring a Sacred Threshold Session, I may:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEnter into prayer and deep spiritual communion on behalf of the individual.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWork energetically with the field surrounding the person and their transition.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHold an intention for peace, comfort, grace, release, and the highest possible outcome.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInvite the release of fear, resistance, energetic entanglement, or anything that may be creating unnecessary struggle.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOffer the soul permission to follow its own highest path—whether that means remaining or transitioning.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWhen appropriate, convey loving messages or intentions from family members such as: \u003cb\u003eYou are loved. You are not alone. We will be okay. You are free to follow what your soul knows is right.\u003c\/b\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHold prayer for the family and the emotional field surrounding the person.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis work can also be especially meaningful when someone is unable to communicate verbally because of dementia, unconsciousness, sedation, neurological illness, or the natural dying process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is no requirement that the individual consciously participate in the session.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe work may be offered remotely. Over phone or via zoom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat I Cannot Promise\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is no promised or predetermined outcome from this work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI cannot tell a soul when to leave the body, nor can I promise that someone will remain in the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI do not attempt to hasten death or prevent death.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe intention is always:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eMay the highest and most loving destiny of this soul unfold with as much peace, grace, ease, dignity, and Divine support as possible.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes the deepest healing is not changing what happens.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes it is changing the way a sacred passage is experienced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cb\u003eFor Families\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese sessions can also hold something deeply important for the people who are left standing beside the threshold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere can be guilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnticipatory grief.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eQuestions about whether your loved one is suffering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFear that they are staying because of you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFear that telling them it is okay to leave somehow means you are giving up on them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePart of this work can include supporting you in finding a place of love where you are able to say:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eI love you enough to let your soul choose.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou can desperately want someone to stay and still give them permission to leave.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThose two truths can exist together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cb\u003eImportant Note\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Sacred Threshold Session is \u003cb\u003espiritual and energetic support only\u003c\/b\u003e.
