Spiral Genesis Somatic Practitioner Training Private 1:1 Training with Erica Rock
I’m excited to offer you a private training experience in the Spiral Genesis Somatic Method.
This training is designed to teach you the core principles, practices, and facilitation skills I use when working somatically with the body, emotional patterns, identity, energetic reorganization, and embodied integration.
Rather than approaching the body as something that needs to be forced into release, this method is based on listening to the intelligence already present within the system and creating the conditions for deeper coherence, awareness, and reorganization.
The central philosophy of the work is:
We do not force the body to release the past. We create the conditions in which the body realizes it no longer has to hold it.
Training Format: five private sessions of approximately 60–75 minutes each.
This format gives us enough space not only to teach the method, but also for you to experience it personally, practice the techniques, receive feedback, and develop confidence in facilitating the process with others.
Session One — Foundations of Spiral Genesis Somatic Work
We will begin with the foundational principles of the method, including:
- Understanding the body as an intelligent system
- Learning to distinguish sensation from interpretation
- Recognizing contraction, expansion, pressure, movement, heat, numbness, breath changes, and other somatic signals
- Learning to observe rather than immediately analyze or change what is arising
- Understanding the relationship between presence, safety, awareness, and reorganization
-
Introduction to the core Spiral Genesis Somatic sequence: Locate → Observe → Allow → Spiral → Reorganize → Integrate
You will also experience the process directly so that you understand the work from the receiving side as well as the practitioner side.
Session Two — Somatic Tracking & Working With Activation
This session focuses on how to guide someone safely into deeper body awareness without overwhelming the system.
We will explore:
- Grounding and orienting
- Slowing the process down
- Somatic tracking
- Working with activation in manageable amounts
- Moving between activated and neutral areas of the body
- Recognizing when a client needs less intensity rather than more
- Asking questions that support self-discovery rather than leading the client
You will begin practicing the process from the practitioner role.
- Session Three — Emotion, Identity & Stored Patterning
In this session, we will explore the relationship between the body, emotion, identity, and long-standing energetic patterns.
We may work with themes such as:
- “I am not safe.”
- “I have to stay small.”
- “I cannot receive.”
- “I have to take care of everyone.”
- “I cannot be seen.”
- “I have to stay in control.”
Rather than analyzing these patterns only through the mind, you will learn to recognize how they organize themselves within the body and how to work with the Spiral Genesis field to support reorganization.
We will also explore the importance of allowing the client to discover their own meaning rather than imposing an interpretation onto their experience.
Session Four — The Complete Spiral Genesis Somatic Session
This session brings everything together.
You will learn the full session structure: Arrival → Grounding → Intention → Somatic Location → Tracking → Spiral Genesis Reorganization → Reassessment → Embodied Choice → Integration → Closure
I will demonstrate the process, and you will then begin facilitating the method while receiving direct guidance and feedback.
The emphasis here is on developing confidence, sensitivity, presence, and the ability to follow what the body is naturally revealing.
Session Five — Practicum, Ethics & Practitioner Refinement
The final training session will focus on integration and application.
You will facilitate a more complete Spiral Genesis Somatic process while I observe and provide feedback.
We will also cover:
- Practitioner boundaries
- Consent
- Scope of practice
- Knowing when to slow down or stop
- Avoiding overinterpretation
- Avoiding dependency
- Supporting client autonomy
- Knowing when referral to another qualified professional may be appropriate
- Closing and grounding the session
- Practitioner energetic hygiene and completion
Practice & Integration Between sessions, You will be required to complete self-practice and practice sessions so that the work becomes embodied rather than purely intellectual.
These practice sessions will give you an opportunity to notice where you feel confident, where questions arise, and where additional refinement may be helpful.
Competency also includes documented practice sessions and a final observed session.
What This Training Is Designed to Give You:
By the end of the training, my intention is that you feel able to:
- Guide someone into deeper somatic awareness
- Track what is happening in the body without forcing an outcome
- Work with emotional and identity-based patterns through the Spiral Genesis framework
- Recognize activation and respond appropriately
- Facilitate a complete Spiral Genesis Somatic session
- Support deeper embodiment and integration
- Maintain strong practitioner boundaries and ethical awareness
- Trust the intelligence of the body rather than over-directing the process
This is intended to be an intimate, highly experiential training rather than simply an informational course. You will be learning the method by experiencing it, practicing it, and receiving individualized guidance throughout the process.
